Using SearchCub

Terms of Service

The terms for researching keywords and domains with SearchCub.

Effective September 11, 2026

These Terms govern your use of SearchCub at searchcub.com, including its keyword and domain research tools, accounts and paid subscriptions. By using SearchCub, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Using SearchCub

SearchCub helps you explore keywords, domains, search results and related research data. You must be legally able to agree to these Terms. If you use SearchCub for an organisation, you must have authority to act for it.

You may use the research, saving, sharing and export features made available to you, subject to your plan, these Terms and applicable law. Access to SearchCub does not transfer ownership of its software, branding or third-party content.

Your account

Provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in methods secure and do not access another person’s account without permission. Contact us if you believe your account has been used without authorisation.

Some features require a signed-in account and a verified email address. Google sign-in is an optional way to authenticate; using it does not give SearchCub access to your Gmail or Google Drive.

Research data and results

Search volumes, traffic, difficulty, costs and other research metrics are estimates or observations from available data. Results can vary by region, device, source and time. Cached or retained results may differ from a current search, and some information may be missing or incomplete.

Use your own judgement and verify important information before making publishing, advertising or business decisions. SearchCub does not guarantee a particular search ranking, amount of traffic, revenue or business outcome.

Linked websites and third-party content remain subject to their owners’ rights and terms. A result or link is not an endorsement, and export access does not grant additional rights to third-party material.

Plans, payments and allowances

Available plans and included allowances are described on the pricing page. Paid plans are monthly subscriptions billed in US dollars through Stripe. The price, billing interval and any applicable taxes shown at checkout apply to your purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the next renewal.

Credits are based on data usage: US$0.01 of data cost uses 1 credit, with smaller costs accumulating as fractional credits. Free credits are unlimited; Free usage is reported monthly from your account signup date. Paid credits refresh with each monthly subscription billing period. Your account shows the next usage reset. Unused paid allowances do not roll over. There are no automatic overage charges; research may be limited when a paid allowance is exhausted or an independent usage safeguard applies.

Credits are reserved before fresh data requests and settled against their data costs. Requests that incur costs can consume credits even if they fail. Unconfirmed costs remain reserved pending reconciliation. Public access has separate attempt limits. Opening cached, retained and shared results uses no credits when no fresh data is requested. Your account and the pricing page explain the available allowances.

Paid access depends on the subscription’s payment status. A failed payment, expired subscription or cancellation taking effect can return the account to its available free access.

Cancellation and billing questions

Use billing management from your account to manage or cancel a subscription. Review the effective date and confirmation shown in the billing portal. Stopping use of SearchCub or signing out does not cancel a recurring subscription.

For an unexpected charge, billing error or refund request, contact us through Feedback and describe the issue. Do not include a full card number or other payment credentials. Cancelling a subscription does not itself submit a refund request. Any refund or cancellation rights provided by applicable law remain unaffected.

Acceptable use

Use SearchCub lawfully and respect other people’s rights. You must not:

  • Bypass access controls, usage limits or payment requirements, including by creating accounts to evade limits.
  • Attempt unauthorised access to accounts, non-public data or systems.
  • Disrupt the service, overload it with abusive requests or introduce malicious code.
  • Use the service to infringe intellectual-property or privacy rights, commit fraud or carry out unlawful activity.

Your information and sharing

You retain your rights in information and feedback you provide. You give SearchCub permission to process that information as needed to provide the service, handle feedback and maintain its operation, as described in the Privacy policy.

Successful keyword research can create a public result link. Anyone signed in to a SearchCub account with a verified email address, including a free account, can use a valid link to view the included query and results. Do not put confidential information into research queries or share information you are not authorised to disclose.

Research history, result links and stored metrics have limited retention periods. Saved keyword text may remain after its metrics expire. Keep your own copies of research you need, and see the Privacy policy for retention details and the difference between public result links and revocable account share links.

Availability and account access

SearchCub depends on hosting, authentication, payment and research-data services. Maintenance, technical failures or changes in third-party data can affect availability and features. We do not promise uninterrupted or error-free service or complete coverage of every keyword or domain.

We may restrict access when needed to protect the service, investigate unauthorised use or address a breach of these Terms. Subscription and usage restrictions also apply as described above. Contact us if you believe a restriction is mistaken.

Changes and your rights

Updates to these Terms will appear on this page with a new effective date. Changes apply prospectively, subject to any notice or consent required by applicable law. The same requirements apply to changes affecting an existing paid subscription.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits consumer rights, remedies or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
